December 2024-- GMSD has had a busy week! Look below to find out what our schools have gotten up to recently!

December 2024 - Multidisciplinary learning leads to a festive display in for students to see as they come in the school.

November 2024 - Preschoolers marched through the hallways wearing costumes and carrying balloons, entertaining the whole school.

November 2024 - Student leaders got a glimpse into food insecurity in the city of Memphis while volunteering to help pack boxes for the Memphis Food Bank.

November 2024 - Dogwood hosts annual Veterans Day parade and reception.

November 2024-- Two Dogwood Elementary students, Mary Margaret Tutor (3rd grade) and Tatum Barnett (5th grade), were awarded with Honorable Mentions at this year's Briarcrest Regional Art Contest and Exhibition (BRACE).

November 2024--The Germantown Municipal Council (GMC) PTO has launched its Art and Writing Contest with the theme “What Are Your Big Dreams?” Students can submit original entries in either Art or Writing categories, following specific guidelines and length requirements based on their grade level.

October 2024 - Crazy chemists and spooky spiders fill the halls at Dogwood as students enjoy hands on learning.

October 2024 - Dolphin runners traveled to Knoxville and clinched the TN State XC championship in multiple divisions.
