At Dogwood Elementary School kindergarten and second grade had their 100th day of school on February 5th. Kindergarteners dressed like grandmas and grandpas, acting like they were 100 years old, to celebrate 100 days of school. They also got to make a craft. They made grandmas and grandpas who looked like them. Then they got to write what they are going to be when they are hundred-years-old.

In second grade, they brought 100 things in a box or on a poster or shirt. They got to tell their class about the 100 things they brought in.

“My favorite thing was that I got to dress up,” Camille Gurley, a kindergartener in Ms. Andrea Adair’s class said.

Second graders had also enjoyed themselves. “My favorite thing was when we got to show everyone the 100 things we got to bring,” said Cooper Wilmoth, who is in Lou Carmichael’s class.

At Dogwood Elementary School kindergarten and second grade had the 100 day of school and celebrated in very fun ways.
