Dolphin Fest, a fun annual PTO fundraiser, was a big success this year. At Dolphin Fest there were games that students could play, people met up with their friends and family, and everybody had an enjoyable time. The weather was perfect for an outdoor event.
“My favorite part was getting to interact with my friends,” fifth grader Chloe Puryear said.
Many people enjoyed the amazing games. Students could buy tickets to participate in corn hole, a cake walk, a poop toss, and basketball. There was even a Ninja course that took up the entire gym.
“The games were very entertaining,” fifth grader Fiona Brown said.
Food trucks were also a hit. Participants had multiple choices to keep hunger at bay while they played. “My favorite part about Dolphin Fest was the coffee truck,” teacher Alexa Guynes said.
The PTO raised a lot of money that they will use to help make improvements at the school over the next year. Dogwood students and parents do a great job of supporting the school.
