Dogwood Elementary Unveils Exciting Lineup of Summer Camps

This summer, Dogwood Elementary is offering a magical mix of fun, learning, and creativity with a lineup of engaging camps for Germantown Municipal School District students. From spellbinding wizardry to culinary adventures and stage performances, there’s something for every child to enjoy!

Hogwarts Adventure Camp (June 23-27, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) invites rising 2nd-6th graders to step into the enchanting world of Harry Potter at our week-long Hogwarts Adventure Camp. From the moment campers arrive, they will be sorted into houses and embark on a magical journey filled with exciting activities, creative challenges, and spellbinding fun. With themed games, hands-on projects, and a world of adventure, campers will experience the wonder of Hogwarts while making new friends and unforgettable memories. Whether they’re brave, wise, loyal, or cunning, every young witch and wizard will find their place in the magical world! Sponsored by Alexa Guynes and Brady Veach, the camp costs $275 and includes snacks and daily crafts.

Coast to Coast Exploration Camp  runs June 30 - July 3 (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM) for rising 1st-4th grade Dogwood students in Room 410.  Sponsored by Alexis Rose and Kelly Martens, this camp is designed to immerse campers in a world of imagination, creativity, and fun. Each day will feature a new destination filled with crafts, games, snacks, activities, and a G-rated animated movie related to our travel! Snacks will be provided. 

For younger campers, Story Time & Spa Camp (July 8-11, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) offers a relaxing mix of storytime, spa activities like bath bomb-making and mani-pedis, and mindfulness crafts for K-3 students to inspire self-care and confidence. It’s $200 and sponsored by Ellen Moak and Donna Jones.

Paired with that is Storybook Chefs Camp (July 8-11, 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM),where K-3 young chefs and book lovers will mix imagination with ingredients as we dive into favorite storybooks and create fun, tasty recipes inspired by each tale. From baking magical treats straight out of fairy tales, to whipping up whimsical snacks from beloved pictures books, each day is filled with hands-on cooking, storytelling, creativity, and laughter! Also sponsored by Moak and Jones, this camp costs $200.

For those with a flair for the dramatic, Dogwood’s Deep Blue Drama Camp: Jr. Revue Pure Imagination (July 14-18, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM) offers rising elementary and middle schoolers a weeklong theater experience. The camp ends with a live performance and is led by a team of passionate educators including Mrs. Veach, Mrs. Cunningham, and others. The cost is $350.
